I have to say these were the standout images of the day for me. Jenni's mother has Alzheimers and she has documented her decline in a series of works called the Dementia Darnings. They are in themselves so beautiful but also so sad.
The images are of her mother. The vibrancy of her near the beginning and the pale greyness and anxious hand wrestling as she declines. Heartbreaking.
The work is stunning wool threads woven through netting - must have to see it from a distance to see whether it's working - mind boggling.
