I'm not a quilter per se but last year I discovered that since the Festival of Quilts at Birmingham's NEC is the largest quilt show in Europe - it attracts way more useful sewing stalls.
Went with a group of dressmakers which made it great fun.
WARNING - we arrived as the show opened and I still can't quite believe we were there till nearly the end - there were that many stalls - and we weren't dallying.
